I talked to a Philosophy Professor at SIU yesterday who challenged my assertion that fixing your head is the key to your heart. He states that fixing your heart is the key to your head. He has a paper to go along with his assertions that describes the heart as a hologram, an image with all the information present, but only viewable one perception at a time. Here in this ethospace to cyberspace continuum, I still hold to headfix's original dictum. I believe that the head is the key to your heart, and fixing it gives you all the wonders of your heart. Your heart is never yours to control. You are a freewilled creature. Your heart tries to manipulate you through your emotions. Emotions dont matter. Your hearts true intention does. We are the flower of our intentions. When your head gets wrapped up in the drama of the emotions, reality flies out the window. We are not in love to serve our greeds. We love to sustain love. Love must be sustainable, or it is an addiction. Science can only describe things with labels, so that they can hope someone can see how things are interconnected, or they can prescribe a drug to fix the described ailment. The ailment is not the problem, it is the result. The depth of the matter of conciousness resides in the balance between the reality and the heart of the matter. The heart is the indesribable center of all things. The point of being that is absolute and insignificant at the same time. infinity. Your head is your key, it is the interpretation station for all things sensation. If emotion is a sensation, then it is the reflex action of the hearts manipulation, the carrot and the horse. The heart does what the heart does. The mind can run for years on lizard mind. A human can set a course of action and work through all lifes obstacles with tenacity and passion. True passion comes from the knowledge of all challenges and the ability to fight through to the other side.
assuming that there is another side. Infinity is a wall that is impenetrable. Within our known reality there are only so many absolutes. The head is only as powerful as the heart lets it be. Balance is the whole of the being.
The discussion of the heart being the key to the head is primarily a discussion of who is the owner of the being. is the head or the heart in true control, and what is control anyway. Who has freewill, and who carries the responsibility?
the heart, the center of our being is the point of singularity that defines us. The mind can carry lots of labels that hide the true meaning of all things and turn our world into a pushbutton universe, but the heart is judge jury and executioner to the body politic that is the mind. The mind is the arena of the heart.
