oh dear God pray for some stimulus
and a damn good reaction
there aint nothing in the world like the perfect relationship
between stimulus and reaction
ill fight my whole life
to know that my stimulus
is her opportunity for reaction
some of the most predictable reactions
make for the most profound satisfactions
so why not just give me some action
im like a kid in a candy store
and i will never fail to amaze me
because the same old candy store
can only bore me
if i allow me
to fall into complacency
with the turning over of change into candy
as if currency makes the candy
as if bees make the honey
they only carry and synthesize
out of what they communicate
for their community to relate
when the flowers dont debate
they just love love love
until the bee comes along and needs you
takes the petals and breathes you
the nectar of the earth
the beauty of everything we could ever hope to be
is alive
and respondding within a cycle
so a kid in a candy store
wishes he was a bee
