Look at all these Shows!!

These are all the shows that appear on WDBX Community Radio. These are all Real people. I don't know any real people at the corporate radio stations anymore.

These people are the coolest neighbors that you really should get to meet. Each one of the time slots represents a selection of the cornucopia of the culture of this region. This is music by music lovers for music lovers. The DJ's all have a passion and a brilliance for the music that they bring to share for you, the listener.

It is strange that it is somewhat difficult to get listeners to tune in to Community Radio. It seems that the other ends of the dial swallow people up whole.

Sometimes there is nervousness present when you listen to Community Radio. That is what we call the raw human element. Sitting down in front a microphone that is attached to a rack of buttons, switches levers and gizmos that can only be controlled by one of the hairiest men on earth is a very daunting proposition. Somehow these unpaid performers find a way to do it every week. Every week, without fail they show up with brand new music to share with their faithful listeners.

If you listen long enough to Community Radio, you will start to see a change in your own behavior.
Once you find yourself tuned in, you'll never tune out. You will start to look forward to the shows that come on and find yourself missing out on shows that you wish you hadn't. You never know exactly what you are gonna hear these people say. This is genuine, this is pure, this is your music education class that you never have to graduate from. Welcome home to Carbondale. We've been here all along. And now, wherever your life has taken you to, you can tune into us from any computer. We are very proud to be here, and we hope that you are proud to have us in your life. Please consider joining our community.

Look what you get when you do join! This is a letter congratulating you on your wise decision to support Community Radio. This letter is personally signed by none other than Brian R. Powell. (He's the hairy guy that I was talking about) You also get a really cool sticker and you are included in all the reindeer games as well.

Honestly, I'm not that hairy! I strategically remove hair from several places on my body, not the least of which is my back! I hate hair on my back. Also hair in the ears is not pleasant, nor is hair in the nose. In fact, the more hair I remove the better I feel. Hand me my razor!
